Handling of AI Accounts at BASECORD
BASECORD provides each customer with a dedicated Linux environment in the cloud and delivers it with official AI development tools installed. Customers log in to those tools with their own AI accounts. This page explains how that works, and what BASECORD does and does not do with accounts.
1. What BASECORD Is
- We prepare a separate Linux environment for each customer. Shared plans use containers; dedicated plans use one server per company.
- Official tools such as Claude Code (Anthropic) and Codex CLI (OpenAI) are installed from the start.
- Customers use these tools from the BASECORD chat screen. Like a terminal or VS Code, the screen is a window for operating the official tools. Inside the customer's environment, the AI creates files, runs them, and checks and fixes them.
- Files and records in the environment are shared among the AIs the customer uses, so work can be continued where it left off.

3. BASECORD's Commitments
- We run the official Claude Code and Codex CLI without modification. All login methods built into each tool (your own subscription account, your own API key) work as-is.
- Login is performed by the customer personally within their own environment, on each AI company's official screen.
- AI usage fees are billed directly to the customer by each AI company. BASECORD does not advance payments, resell, or add any markup.
- BASECORD does not collect, hold, or act as an intermediary for customers' AI login information or tokens. Login renewal is handled by the official tools themselves within the customer's environment. (A mechanism that previously let BASECORD renew logins on the customer's behalf was discontinued in October 2026.)
- Each AI account is for one person to use. We inform customers that one AI account cannot be shared among multiple people.
- AI product names are written only in plain text. We do not use AI companies' names or logos as BASECORD product names or logos, and we do not imply any partnership with them.
4. What BASECORD Does Not Do
- Copying one customer's AI login into another customer's environment
- Taking login information out of the customer's environment
- Using the customer's flat-rate plan tokens to connect from BASECORD's own programs to the AI company
- Reselling AI usage fees as part of BASECORD's pricing
5. Connection method for each AI

6. Confirmation with AI companies
This mechanism was built in line with Anthropic's official document "Claude Code Legal and compliance" and OpenAI's developer documentation. We are asking Anthropic and OpenAI to review it. If anything needs correcting, we will fix it and update this page.
